Getting involved with G.A.S.C.
Volunteering with a local swimming club like Glenrothes Amateur Swimming Club (G.A.S.C) is an excellent way to positively impact your community and have fun while doing it. As a parent of a G.A.S.C member, you have the chance to support your child's growth and development by volunteering with the club.
At G.A.S.C, we value teamwork, discipline, and striving for excellence. By volunteering your time and energy, you can help us maintain the high standards we've set for our club and ensure that every child has the opportunity to succeed.
In addition to the personal satisfaction of making a difference, volunteering with a swimming club provides a sense of camaraderie and community. You'll meet people who share your passion for swimming and helping others, and you may even make lifelong friends.
Volunteering with the club is also a great way to spend quality time with your child while making a positive impact on the community. You'll set a positive example for your child about giving back and being an engaged member of the community.
As a volunteer with G.A.S.C, you'll not only help others but also gain valuable skills, experience, and a sense of community. Volunteering can enhance your resume and career prospects while benefiting the community. So, join us today and make a positive impact on your community while having fun with like-minded people!

I consider myself as a bit of a dinosaur now but I still get a lot of enjoyment from Coaching. Helping swimmers to achieve their potential, sharing in their journey and having lots of laughs along the way is hugely rewarding.

When I’m not poolside I enjoy time with the family and going abroad to sunnier climates or on the golf course.

I started swimming later in life and coaching even later. I love outdoor swimming as well as lane swimming and now teach with fife leisure.
